.:a techy business:.

some of you may frown upon today's thoughts, bring the pitch forks and torches, but that is just how it works here at our abode... so, there it goes:

and the testimonial: "my name is Van and my 2-year-old daughter is free to use the i-pad"... actually she's been free to use it for a while, always under supervision, but she is quite good at it... and at balance... let's say my little pea has more sense in her than some thirty-something I know...

she doesn't play with the pad the whole time, the same as she doesn't dance, or watch tv, or play with dough non-stop, and so on and so forth... the funny thing is, she can tell when it is too much... her time limit for an activity is of about a quarter of an hour... and she does loves books and puzzles, her time management there is a little if, needing more of a parent's guidance to make her drop the activity...

carnival art: working shapes, colours, textures
this being said, her games in the pad include colouring, puzzles, story telling, sorting and music creation... she has her own folder, can move from one to the other as she chooses... she also knows how to avoid publicity and doesn't try for things we haven't bought... then you say: oh, wow, she is a genius!!! but no, she has only learnt, she is a great observer and amazes us on a daily basis...

even though she is that good, still there is close supervision when she is at work (no matter what activity is taking her time)... we are just lucky to have this smart little lady to raise...
